God's Closet
God’s Closet is a non-profit community service
organization that collects and distributes new and
gently used children's clothes, shoes, and bedding.
Located here, at the Kernersville Seventh-day Adventist Church,
God's Closet is a ministry that provides clean and gently used
children's clothes, shoes, and bedding for families in need.
There are no documents needed, forms to be filled out, or questions
asked in order to receive items from us. All that we require is a one-
dollar entrance fee per family to cover some of the running expenses
of the ministry. Shopping bags will be provided.
If you would like to give children’s clothes, shoes, and/or bedding, we
accept donations on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to noon.
If you are unable to deliver your items during these hours, please
contact us and we will gladly work with you to make other
arrangements.
We do not accept or distribute adult clothes or any other type of child-related items, such as car seats, toys, stuffed animals, baby food, or diapers. Please give these to your local shelter or charity who accepts them. We also do not take soiled, torn, or ripped items. These items should be discarded.
God’s Closet is an organization that is run entirely by volunteers. Volunteers are required to donate 2 hours of their time in order to "shop", but because of their hard work, love, and dedication to the ministry, they are given the opportunity to shop first and without the required fee.
